The YMCA has long served as America's beloved swimming instructor. Whether learning how to swim or taking water exercise classes, members are in safe hands with our certified swimming instructors and lifeguards. The year-round aquatic programs are more than just techniques and skills; they are about building friendships, developing self-esteem and creating positive experiences that last a lifetime.

Lifeguard Training

Our American Red Cross Lifeguard training courses provide participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
